The 2 day QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification (Sunday the 18th and Saturday 24th October) – £90

The QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification is a extended 2 day course, ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it is been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders. This course covers everything on the one day Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid with additions:

  • Roles and responsibilities of first aider
  • Assessing the emergency situation
  • Dealing with unresponsive Infant/Child
  • The Recovery Position
  • CPR for Infant and Child with use of AED
  • Choking Infant and Child
  • Head and spinal injuries
  • Fractures, dislocations & sprains
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Meningitis
  • Asthma
  • Seizures
  • Diabetic emergencies
  • Poisoning
  • Burns and scalds
  • Electric shock
  • Wounds, bleeding and shock
